Transition Joints (electrical)

Al(Ti)Fe- electrical transition joints are being used as a connection between anode bar and yoke and between the cathode and the busbar. Our electrical transition joints (ETJ`s) are produced by the explosive welding process, under vacuum. Because of this production process, the connection is better controlled and more homogeneous then the under atmospherical conditions explosion welded transition joints.
The Bi-Metallic Transition Joints are constructed in two (2) layers, the Tri-Metallic Transition Joints in three (3) layers. Different combinations are possible, such as Aluminium/Steel Joints, Aluminium/Copper joints, Aluminium/Titanium/Steel joints, etc.
