Lubricants and separation agents

The Insulcon group can offer you a complete range of high performance synthetic casting and cutting / sawing lubricants, together with a range of separation agents.
In a continuous cutting operation, like circular sawing, the application of a lubricant is critical to ensure the integrity of the surface and the quality of the cut. In billet formation, it is recognised that a minute amount of lubricant is needed to reduce friction and to increase productivity and surface quality. Bone ash and Boron Nitride coatings are applied as separation agents because of their non wetting abilities.
